Re: Postcard exchange with family from Australia!

Hello, my family of 3 lives in western Michigan, USA.  We recently decided to collect postcards and stamps from everywhere.  We have joined Postcrossing.com, but we are looking for more people who are interested in exchanging cards with us.  I know that we are both in the USA, but we have been enjoying swapping with families all over the world.

If this is something that you and your daughter are interested in, please send me the names and addresses that I need, and I will get a postcard out to your family promptly.

    Thanks!

    Nick, Betsey, and Henry

Hi!  We're a home schooling family of 3, ages 1, 8, and 9.  Our oldest two have been looking for friends to exchange postcards with for a while.  We would love to participate with others looking to do the same!  Our 8 yr. old boy, Brendan, and 9 yr. old girl, Raven, look forward to exchanging cards with other kids of various areas and cultures. Hope to hear from you all.

    Hi there!

I produce different media for educational companies here in the US and live in the Sonoran desert in Arizona. My two sons are grown now (one has graduated from college and the other is in Med school for 1 more year) but we used to love exchanging postcards and stories with others all over the world. I'd like to send you some from my beautiful desert if you'd like.

I've worked and lived on 6 continents... But never had the opportunity to visit Austrailia. I'd really like to see where you live!

Let me know how/where to mail a card and I'll get one to your family this week.

    Cheers!

Hello, Monica, I'll try to send you a card from France.  I hope to find time this week!  I have students 8/9 years old but we are already making a Flat Stanley exchange, so  I'll make my own children do the card.  Do your students understand French?  (I think so).

Re: Postcard exchange with family from Australia!

    Hello Everyone!

My name is Miss Monica and I am a grade 3 teacher at Joliette Elementary School in Joliette, Quebec, Canada. This year my students and I would like to participate in an international postcard exchange program. We are asking interested teachers, classrooms, or any interested individual to help us by sending us 1 postcard of their community/ province/ state/ country, etc. for us to learn about different places and cultures around the world. The reason we are asking for only 1 postcard per classroom is so that we can return the favour by sending your classroom a postcard from here!

Here is how the project will work.

    Send 1 postcard to:

    Miss Monica's Grade 3 Class

    c/o Joliette Elementary School

    8 Mgr. Lafortune

    Joliette, Quebec, Canada

    J6E 6G7

    1. Please write your address on the back of the postcard
    2. Write any information you would like on the back of the postcard.
    3. Wait patiently for us to reply!

Our classes begin September 1, 2011 so you can start sending your postcard at any time! This is the third time I have done this activity with my students and I can assure you that the students LOVE receiving the postcards and locating the places on our world map.

Thank you for taking the time to help us with this year-long project!

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. We look forward to hearing from you soon!
